Chat Logger Mod

I have been looking for a simple chat logger mod for a while. Just something to output chat to a .txt with timestamps. MultiMC logs chat to the instance log but its a paint to sift through with all the other info also being logged there
When you click on a users chat logs, then click off and the user has sent messages later in the stream then the chat logs won't update. Its a big pain when you look at the logs of a user and need to look at them again in an hour or so but the logs haven't updated and you need to refresh your chat window.
This absolutely must be resolved! We have the ability to manually refresh the user list from mod view, so even if the individual user chat log doesn't update automatically we should at least be able to manually refresh it without refreshing the entire page.
Knowing how your audience reacts to your content will help you know which direction you should push in the future. When you have an active Twitch chat, new people who join your channel will be more likely to stay.
The easiest way to review your chat log after a stream is by downloading a third-party program called Chatty. Chatty is a free, open-source software that offers streamers many chat-related benefits.
You can use this to download chat history from Twitch. On the other hand, one of its abilities is downloading the database to your personal computer for future reference. Other features include seeing a viewer graph of your current session, auto-moderation support that will approve or deny messages based on pre-set terms, and a list of your most recent 100 followers and subscribers.
You can also view logs using a chatbot such as Nightbot. Several offer this feature with variations on how it is done and ease. Twitch chatbots offer a host of benefits to users, such as customizable commands, and an in-chat moderation tool. It is a good idea to have at least one as an extension to your stream.
If that user is the broadcaster or a mod of the room they will receive messages containing a type of chat_login_moderation or chat_channel_moderation as well as some associated metadata about the command used by that mod in that chat.
The CLEARCHAT message in IRC originates from the .timeout command though, so those could be tied together with an id. The same with other commands/messages, .subscribers creates a notification in chat that Subscriber-Only mode has been enabled, so it would be nice if it had an id that is represented in the PubSub to be able to easier connect who made that notification appear.
UPDATE: We are changing the topic relatively soon, so we can support moderators receiving these messages. You should listen on the `chat_moderator_actions.{user_id}.{room_id} where user_id is the moderator user ID, and roomID is the user_id of the channel/user.

The game client stores a text log of all chat and game events in the user's Windows Documents folder in the Elder Scrolls Online\\live\\Logs\\ChatLog.log file. The basic format of each line in the chat log is simply:
The chat log appears to be updated in chunks of roughly 4096 bytes at a time. This may be from the game client itself but is more likely due to the library, OS or hardware buffering. Thus the frequency of chat log file updates depends on how much is being output to the log. For normal idling this could be several minutes but during combat it could be as often as every second.
By default, FoundryVTT only loads messages as you scroll up through the history in the Chat Log. The only problem is that once the messages have been loaded, they stay there for the entirety of the session unless you reload the page. I always found that Foundry would continue to gradually slow down as time went on and the chat log filled up more and more.
You can now enable the Adventure Log feature for easy in-game event tracking. This feature adds the new chat command /log that allows you to quickly add a note about something that has just happened. This command will save the event message as an entry in a designated journal. It will be formatted with a timestamp, and who made the entry.
A keyboard shortcut has now been added to allow you to quickly edit your most recent message you sent. While in the chat box, simply press [Ctrl]+[Up] on the keyboard. An edit message dialog will immediately appear for the most recent message you sent.
Displays a Send Message button in the chat box. This button can be clicked to send the currently written message. This is useful for anyone using a touch screen, or just prefers using a mouse to send the message instead of hitting Enter.
There is an option that when enabled, you will see the chat message timestamp changed from real-world time to one based on the current Game Time. The format of this timestamp is provided by the Simple Calendar module, which must be installed in order to use this feature.
Now when you whisper a message to a list of users, the Recipient List at the top of the message is truncated if it is too long. There are some games that have many GM users and hitting up /w gm ... can make a very massive chat message. Instead it will truncate the list and say how many more names there are. You simply have to hover your mouse over the visible names and the rest will show in the mouse-over hint bubble.
This article details Administration Log, a file which records key gameplay events such as chat, player hits and deaths. It's main purpose is to help server administrators identify exploiters, cheaters or spot breaches of any custom rules the server might have set up.
All filtering rules only apply to the channel to which they were added, hence it is possible to have different filters applied to say Recruitment from Trading channel. To add/modify filtering rules in a channel of your choice, click on that channel, then click on the magnifying glass icon in top-left corner of the chat window. It is possible to add multiple inclusive and exclusive rules, the rules are not case sensitive (so \"wtb\" will match both \"wtb\" and \"WTB\" for instance). Inclusive rules are added by default, and exclusive rules are added by toggling the switch just below the text field entry from a tick mark to a cross. Once a rule is added, exclusive rules are prefixed with a red NOT, while inclusive rules are not prefixed with anything. Hovering the mouse pointer over any existing rule will show X next to it, clicking on which will remove that rule. 59ce067264
